Services for Schools

Mode runs an exceptionally successful Study Programme  for school pupils aged 14 to 16. The programme is delivered at The Alima Centre Sefton Street – 1 mile from Liverpool city centre and consists of vocational training alongside maths, English and employability.

Main features of Mode’s study programme

  • roll-on/roll-off: students can join any time of year, for as long as appropriate to their needs
  • flexible weekly attendance patterns eg one day a week or full-time
  • strong links with employers who provide suitable and supervised work placements for students
  • outstanding qualification achievement rates
  • excellent opportunity for progression onto Key to Apprenticeships and full apprenticeships with Mode


Cost  is between £45 and £50 per day per student. However, this can vary depending on number of students coming from any one establishment, the qualifications they are working towards and how often they are attending.
