Did you know your son/daughter is now required to remain in full time education and/or training until they are 18?

As an established training provider with more than 20 years experience Mode can offer a variety of options to ensure an effective transition from school to the world or work. We specialise in employability, hairdressing, barbering, music technology, business administration and customer service qualifications.

There are many options available to young people after they leave school. Our current offer is outlined below:

Study Programme

A study programme consists of a vocational qualification, enrichment, employability and maths and English.  The young person attends Mode for 3 days per week to complete their study programme with external work experience with local employers once they have developed their employability skills. On completion of their study programme the young person can progress onto either a traineeship, apprenticeship or self-employment.

Bursary may be available to support with lunch and travel for those with a combined household income of less than £25,000 per annum (evidence will be required to support this)

Traineeship

A work experience focused programme enabling the young person to gain valuable skills with a local employer for between 3 and 6 months.  The young person is guaranteed an apprenticeship interview on completion of their traineeship.

Bursary may be available to support with lunch and travel for those with a combined household income of less than £25,000 per annum (evidence will be required to support this)
