Cyber safety training for all staff and learners
Staff at mode training are currently undertaking training to allow them to show our young people how to use the internet and mobile technology safely. With the increase of the amount of IT equipment we now have at Mode we thought it important to ensure that both staff and learners are aware of the safe ways to use the equipment. The training will be provided by our Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) Ambassador, Emma Tagoe, and will give learners and staff safety knowledge that can be used at Mode, at work or at home.
CEOP is part of UK law enforcement and works with local and international forces to combat child abuse. The think u know programme which is run by CEOP educates children, young people, parents and trainers on how to stay safe in the virtual world. Our site now includes the CEOP report button which enables you to report abuse directly to CEOP.
