Annual Celebration of Achievement
Each year Mode Training holds an annual celebration of achievement consisting of four learner competitions. Competition themes vary from year to year but the criteria always reflect appropriate stages in the learners’ City and Guilds qualifications.
2009 Celebration of Achievement
The theme for this years competition is "Hair around the world". Learners with be gathering inspiration from world events, flags of the world, music from across the world, elements of the world and our different cultures.
Audiences will be dazzled with flamboyant hairstyles and matching outfits themed around anything from outer space to the union jack.
Competition criteria for this year are:
- Alternative curriculum competition - Hair up
- 1st year competition -Hair up and colour with incorporated braids
- 2nd year competition - Re-style hair with at least 1/2 inch cut on stage
- 3rd year competition - Freestyle competition with added hair
